It all started when…

MSP is excited to bring its very own sports performance camp to PDX. This camp is for any youth athlete male or female looking to build foundational strength, agility, and speed. As an athlete grows it is essential to build a sound framework base around movement and strength. Over the course of 3 days MSP will provide 50 youth athletes with developmental programming.

This programming focuses on:

  • Athletic Stance

  • Running Technique

    • Mechanics

    • Linear running

    • Lateral running

    • Transitional running

  • Jumping Technique

    • Takeoff Mechanics

    • Landing Mechanics

    • Plyometrics

  • Foundational Strength

    • Hip Development

    • Core Activation

    • Mobility

    • General Strength

  • Nutrition

MSP will host professionals from the strength and conditioning, and sports industry to provide first hand insight on what it means to be a complete athlete. These talks will touch on topics essential for a young athlete to have success on and off the field.

Most importantly these 3 days will provide a place for all athletes of different backgrounds and different sports to train TOGETHER. Different athletes mingle less and less in an age of specialization. Come learn come train and most importantly
